Mechanics, Engineers and MagiciansMany hypnotists make one fundamental mistake when it comes to hypnotic processes. It’s a mistake that all the greats in this field have avoided in one way or another. And this was one of the reasons that they became great in the first place. The mistake is a simple one: they get caught up and stuck at the level of techniques. (1) This level of thought is what I like to refer to as the level of ‘Reality Mechanics’. A Reality Mechanic is someone who has a bag of tricks, or a toolkit. Every time they meet a situation, they pull out the appropriate tool, follow the step-by-step instructions, and hope for the best. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. When it fails, it’s the tool that gets the blame. The problem with Reality Mechanics is that they are stuck. They cannot create new approaches because they have not studied the mechanisms inside the gadgets they are using. They have to rely on someone else to develop the new techniques and technologies. (2) To burst through the bubble of the Reality Mechanic limitations, you need to elevate yourself to the next level. This is what I like to call the realm of the ‘Reality Engineer’. A Reality Engineer works NOT on the level of techniques, but on the level of principles. They understand what makes a process work. This means they are free to make up their own techniques on the spur-of-the-moment as the situation requires. A Reality Engineer can confidently meet entirely new situations and know that all he has to do is gather enough information so he can start selecting the appropriate principles. Whereas a Reality Mechanic can only apply pre-packaged solutions to “common” problems, the Reality Engineer can take the entire mechanism apart, clean it up and put it back together in a more useful and efficient way. A Reality Engineer has more choice and is therefore more powerful as an individual. (3) Then beyond this is the level of the ‘Reality Magician’. This level of being is the most difficult to describe. It is an incredibly powerful state in which you stand beyond the self-imposed limits that hold back even the Reality Engineer. This is the level where you don’t TRY and do something - apply a principle or a technique - you merely INTEND something and it occurs. When you get here you have internalized so many experiences, you literally BECOME the process. You unconsciously apply hypnosis in everything you do so that magical things just seem to happen to you and around you. This special mind set is an incredibly important thing to understand, and you really need the power of a live, hands-on training to truly internalize it fully... |

help people resolve a phobia unless you get a medical or psychological

result. All too many trainings try to teach you 100 techniques and let
you figure out for yourself how and when to use which. We have
developed an amazing system that takes ALL the guesswork out of it for

There are only 4 fundamental hypnotic patterns to choose from (although
each of them is quite sophisticated and can get A LOT done). Even
better than that, you start with the first pattern and the very thing
that might cause it to fail AUTOMATICALLY triggers the next pattern in
the sequence. Most things will get resolved by the 2nd stage. Some
things go on to the 3rd stage - the real heavy hitter. Almost nothing
ever needs to go to stage 4!

what to do next and there will be no more guesswork necessary. If
something doesn't work, you'll know exactly why, and more importantly,
how to fix it at once!

(12) Which
organization will I get certified with?
Assuming you pass the Certification process
(relax - we work really hard to make sure that everyone that takes the
exam actually passes it too!) you will become a fully certified member
of the IAPCH (International Association of Professional Conversational
Hypnotists). You will have the option to post your details on the IAPCH
website so that people seeking out a qualified conversational hypnotist
can find you.
You will also, of course, get an elegant certificate certifying you as
a Hypnotherapist (specialising in Conversational Hypnosis) and
welcoming you as a certified member to the IAPCH.
Unlike many other organisations, the IAPCH doesn't believe in
extracting as much cash from you as it can. Once you're a member you
will ALWAYS be a member (provided of course that you don't do anything
unethical - unethical is not tolerated and will get the offenders
disbarred from the organisation).
(13) How does the
certification process work?
Certification is very simple. At the
end of the week you will get the chance to work with a partner and
demonstrate 3 of the 4 hypnotic patterns that make up the Ledochowski
protocol. As this is not the right context for doing therapy, you will
be asked to use the hypnotic patterns in a "generative" way - to
enhance the other person's life in a meaningful way.
You will be given simple instructions on how to perform the 3 hypnotic
patterns and you can take in any notes that you wish. After all in real
life you get to have your notes with you too, if you so wish! The only
thing you may not do is ask anyone else for advice once the examination
has started.
Those that do not want to go for formal certification will take part in
the same process. Only for you this becomes a coaching opportunity.
You will be able to call in Igor at any time and ask for advice, check
out a point or simply discuss an idea or reaction you received. Igor
will than answer your questions, provide feedback and coach you through
a sticking point so that you really get it.
